Beautiful Palomino Registered Tennessee Walking Horse. 11 years old. Gelding. Wonderful trail horse. Previous owner was an avid trail rider. I was told they road 1,000 miles of trails with him. I've had him almost 3 years and haven't used him as much so he doesn't have that muscle tone he had when I got him.

Pros - No problems at all with trailers, farrier, grooming, cross ties, handling, halters, bridles, saddle. Great on trails, doesn't crowd other horses, just enjoys the outdoors.

Reason for selling - I have 4 horses and nobody to ride with - originally bought him for my husband but since then he's had 6 knee operations. Not going to be riding much anymore.

He's a big guy (not huge height) but husky. Strong mover, takes big strides. Need to ride light on the legs and mouth cause he will move out if you give him the leg.

Cons - I'm going to say "intermediate" rider for one reason - he is a "little bit" spooky. But not the "Oh my god I'm going to run away" kind of spooky. Instead, it's a "OH my god what was that, OH, it didn't bother you, okay, then it's alright." kinda spooky. He's a people horse, doesn't care so much about other horses, but is in tune with you. If you are relaxed and calm he will be too.

I had the worst thing happen to me on him the first time I took him out on trails - the saddle girth came loose and the saddle slipped under his belly, attached via the breast collar and he immediately came to a stop, looked at me - like he was so sorry and stood patiently as I adjusted everything back to normal. He didn't even know me yet. He trusts people.

I want to find him a good home, where he will be enjoyed and establish a bond with his owner/companion.
